Ok Ok, I have been somewhat missing in action the past few months but for good reason. I have been learning online marketing. The day to day of programming is fun but I spend way to much time behind the computer. So what have I learn so far?
I have learned that the sites I use, like MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc are being used by people to gain a marketing advantage. They are actually making money off of these sites. That surprised me in the fact that I never really saw that potential in these sites. I just saw them as a social hangout.
So what exactly have I been doing? I have been creating videos and making sites. The first site I made was Joseph Geyer. This is my personalized mentorship site where I aim to provide mentoring to those just beginning network marking, or just plain old marketing. Yes I have learned this so well that I now teach others.
My second site is called MLM Ball. It helps show people there broken mindset when wanting to be successful in any online business and helps promote the All 4 One Mastermind community.
And the latest and greatest site, My Millionaire Date strives to show people that there is a better way to manage there money and become a true millionaire. No game playing, no wishing. Pure help. It is actually my best work to day as far as opt in pages go.
Yes, I am still doing some work on Foxxy Playground but the budget for work has been pretty much shot so now I am looking for more work to help offset the lower income. I know my marketing sites will start performing once I do the whole web 2.0 thing and build my web of trust so I am not to worried about it.
On another note, I have an offer for one of my domain names ds9.com and I am seriously considering it. The guy has been trying to get it for a couple of years and I am not doing much work on it right now anyways. The only thing I would loose is my cool email address (and a few other people also) but such is life I guess.

This election year sucks. The candidates running for President all suck. What happened to Al Gore? For all intents and purposes, he won the last election. Where is he? His views on the environment, television media, and decline in our society (among other things) makes him the best Man for the job. Yes, it would be cool to get a female or black person into the white house but we have to put those ideas aside and pick the best man. If I can, I will be writing his name on the ballot as a write in. Forget everyone else who is currently running. They are shameful to them self and will bring that very shame to our country. There is no good pick in the current pool of candidates. THEY ALL SUCK.
So if Al Gore reads this or one of his “crew” does. Push him into the ring. If the country ever needed to be saved, it is now. We have just been thru 8 years of crap and it looks bleak for the next 4. Remember the Magic 8 Ball saying “Outlook Not Good”. That is America right now.
The presidency needs to be about the people, not bipartisan crap. I do not pick a party because I do not believe in parties, but I liked what Clinton was doing also. Yeah he had sex in the White House. Guess what. I do not care. If I were President, I would have sex also. Seriously, it really is none of our business. That was a family matter, not a people matter. It all boils down to the fact we are all human. People make mistakes. What you do after the mistakes tests your mettle and character. Learn from your mistakes, you become a better person. Make the mistake again and you are a fool.
Speaking of people, WAKE UP. I am getting SICK of hearing people complain about stuff and not taking action. They are too busy with there “normal” life to even care about somebody else or them self. All they want to do is just run there mouth. So if you don’t put your words into action. SHUT UP. Take charge people and do not let these current idiots running for President have the office. Do a write in campaign at election time and write in Al Gore. You would be doing yourself and your country a great service.

(1 votes, average: 5 out of 5) Loading ...This player is HORRIBLE for any kind of advanced usage. No documentation on the configuration file layout. The documentation they do have is very vague and always refers to there customizer tool. They do have a doc that tells you how set up icecast. Um guys. icecast is NOT YOUR PRODUCT. LINK to the documentation on the icecast site and dont just copy/paste the text so your documentation “looks better”. Well people who use databases to control playlists just is not working. There technical support button DOESNT work no matter what checkboxes you check or uncheck. This is a classic of “Im a dummy” product. If you are an advanced user that uses a database back end, stay away from this product. The only thing going good for it is the reconnect to live streams every so often so the users browser does not die. If the Jeroen player did that, Wimpy would be out of business PERIOD.
Even if teh Jeroen player is free, its worth more than what you pay for Wimpy.

(1 votes, average: 5 out of 5) Loading ...By now you have heard about another school shooting here in the USA. No doubt, people are going to start blaming video games, which is totally untrue. What is most important to remember here is that more people die in IRAQ each day with suicide bombing and insurgent actions. These events are not covered as much in the media as a school shooting that “only” killed 6 people. I put only in parenthesis there because any unexpected death is unfair. You are here to live your life, not have someone else take it from you. Its selfish for you to kill anyone, not to mention unethical in and immoral.
As I last checked, they have not released the name of the shooter and I think they should never release it. Do not give them any credit. The people that commit these horrible crimes do it so they can die in the public and try to make everyone else feel there pain. People will say “we should of done this” or “we should of done that”. The only people allowed to say that are the parents. If you want to blame someone, blame the parents. They FAILED in raising there child with ethics and morals so they would not do such a thing. If you want to blame someone, do not blame the gun, do not blame video games, do not blame the internet. Actually you can blame the media as well for the intense covering they give each of these shootings. The media harp and harp on these kind of events that almost give the perpetrator an infamy and one that will live on in the history books. We should mark there names from the history books, not have any information on them and just call them gunman. FORGET who they were, do not pay any attention to whom they were. The reason that a school shooting is so desirable is because of the media. The reason they DO the school shooting is bad upbringing. I expect more school shootings in the future as our “barney” kids, the ones whom were raised by a television, mature up to high school and college age.
Don’t coddle your child with a TV show. Nurture them like a good parent.

(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...If you know me personally, you know that I am a sucker for the next BBD (bigger better deal) and over the past year I have awakened to my “lemming” ways. Like so many, I would get into a nice program and be fairly interested in the program and just put out one page and let it set. Guess what, it collected dust. I have been taking marketing classes for about a year from the Dream Team and they do have some good material, they subscribe to the old way. Basically, throw money at it and it will grow. Now being of the class of normal, aka not rich, I never really had money to throw at it. The money for the classes set me back a bit but I knew I wanted to get into online marketing. Over the past few months, the more I looked around, the more I started to realize that these marketers are full of crap. Most blowing hot air trying to get your money by selling more hot air. I became disenchanted with the business model. The whole model just was not sitting right on my stomach. January was probably the best wake up month for me. I started reading more and more from non-mainstream marketing people that made more sense and actually felt a whole lot better on my stomach.
One example is Danny Arrington. I did not join his list until a few days ago, but the information he is giving out for FREE is amazing. Most marketers feed you a nice meal but you can only eat the peas without paying. Danny is holding back a few peas and giving you the meat. This makes me trust him and I am more likely to buy from him than some mumbo jumbo old schooler full of hot air. Actually if you want to join his list, which is free and he does not spam his subscribers, click here. He is just now putting together his Bootcamp series and just finished Day 2. It just makes sense and he is honestly open with you before you even open your wallet. Actually I am not sure what he is selling but if he has his hand in it, it will get serious consideration from me.
Another example is blogging. Yes I blog here, often with very pointed posts, but I have been wanting to run a real blog for a while. I never really found my passion. Well I had, I just did not realize it till this weekend. I started a blog on health. How to Invest in YOURself. Now this is not some crappy get rich quick program. I am actually writing real posts about the research I have been doing over the years trying to get my mind and body to a state of harmony. If you are interested in Meditation, New Age stuff, or just curious I suggest you take a ponder at it. Its there for free. Yeah I know, bad for the wallet but good for my soul. I have ALWAYS wanted to help people and this is the perfect outlet.
Not sure what the new blog has in common with marketing but perhaps it helps demonstrate a shift of mentality. I am now focusing on the “product” more so than my “cut”. I have been blinded by money so long and I will post more on that in my health investment site.

Just received an email from eBay announcing there new “lower” fee structure. Its pure crap.
They RAISED the final value fee by 3.5%!! 5.25% was already rediculous and now they want 8.75%? WTF? Yeah they lowered there insertion fees by 5 cents. Wooopy doo dah. They are still taking the money out of your pocket when it sells.
Another thing, as I read this I was reminded that they charge insertion fees for there stores. What crap is that? They also charge monthly fees. I am sorry.. wait no I am not, if I am paying a monthly fee to have a store I want to not have to pay everytime I put a product in a store I am already paying for. wow.
They hid the fee increases by throwing in gallery for free. Definately done with eBay. I will probably still buy on there but I am definately NOT selling on there anymore.
Con artists of the century? There new fee structure.

Over the last week, I figured I would try to clean some clutter out and put some stuff up for auction on eBay. What I have found is that they are charging WAY too much now. Lets look at one of my auctions:
2 items with a “buy it now” auction and “best offer” listed at $29.99. They both sold for a total of $44 ($22 each). Here is the fee breakdown:
Insertion Fee: $2.40
Final Value Fee: $2.31
Total fee: $4.71
That is MORE than 10% of what I received for my items. To put the sting even further, there sister company Paypal took an additional $1.88. Total fees for selling on eBay amounts to $6.59 on a sale that was $44. My final income was $37.41, they took 15%. It looks like the only way to make money on eBay is to inflate somewhere and now I know why some of these shipping charges are outrageous. eBay does not charge fees on shipping, PayPal does as it is charged on all incoming money. So if you are going to sell something of any value, list it for a dollar and put your purchase price in shipping.
My insertion fee was so high on that item because it was a buy it now. Guess what eBay, it does not cost you more to list that item so why are you charging more?
Another quickie example which is not as bad. A cell phone up for auction with a buy it now.
Insertion Fee: $1.10
Final Value Fee: $3.25
PayPal Fee: $2.98
Total Fees: $7.33
Phone sold for $84.75 - $7.33 = $77.42 in total income. That is still close to 9% (8.64%) in total fees. I am looking for a new auction site that does not try to rape you on fees. Maybe Amazon is the answer? Maybe uBid?
Pass on eBay. There fees are out of hand.

If he gets elected, one of the first titles “Barack destroys Iraq” or “Obama kills Osama” wee. If he gets elected, there should be a condition that he HAS to have a name change when he takes the office. I mean can you imagine being sworn in as Obama?
I have not really gotten into the politics yet but need to soon as the primaries are coming up.. wait can independants vote in primaries? I dont think so. I will have to Google it.
You know who I would vote for no matter there politics… a Black Woman. Yeah screw all you racists out there and woman haters. Put a Black Woman in office and castrate all of you mother F’ers. That will teach you. Which brings to mind.. maybe we should have a racist tax instead of hate crimes… ooohhh I think we need more tax cuts for the “real” people.
I am drooling already. You know what. Oprah Winfrey for president. What the hell, why not.
